Right ive read lot's of these post's before and i have to say farming is not just for greedy players and yes they should make you farm in 2 or more player party's and i think farming spots will be told to others no matter what you do. There's one thing i like when i do farming is when it's with one of my guildy's or pal's it's much more fun

ps sorry if i did not spell words right i am a bit of a noob at spelling

I partly agree with you Witchblade. I myself have used one or more build guides posted here. I do tweak them to match my own style of play though. But I, like you, get tired of people wanting everything handed to them. What's the point of playing the game? But I like it when people share helpful information, i.e. the Build Guides.

Thumbs down

If you want to be rich your going to have to keep the farming spots to yourself.

Anet probably log every item you pickup, every portal you enter, how long you play and probably more and store it in a database like sql, which will allow them to search for nearly anything they want.

If thousands of people are repetitively killing one type of monster they will notice, one person on the other hand they wont.

As for bots Anet wont be able to stop them, while theres money in farming items there will always be very skilled programmers.

Take Diablo 2 for instance the first bots simply manipulated mouse clicks as Blizzard patched they just got more and more complex,

eventually they had a bot that would perform random actions fight enemys, use the shortest path algorithm on a randomly generated map and even work in a team with others bots !

Needless to say d2 economy and game is dead, i fear gw will eventually go the same way as people continue to buy off ebay.

Now that this thread has come to the point where the only conversation going on is namecalling and defending against namecalling, it's being closed. I'm sure everyone's explained their opinions sufficiently on this.
